Angela Martinez

Angie Martinez is THE Voice of New York. Cemented in the Radio Hall of Fame, Martinez has spent decades interviewing the biggest names in hip-hop like Lil’ Kim, Jay-Z, Tupac, and DMX. If you name them, she’s talked to them. For nearly three decades she hosted a show the at New York City station Hot 97 (WQHT) before moving to their competitor station Power 105.1 (WWPR) in 2014.
She also released music as well, releasing two studio albums and appearing on the classic Lil’ Kim posse cut “Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)” alongside Da Brat, Missy Elliott, and “Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.”
